Based in Sheffield, Cavendish Cancer Care is a wonderful charity who provide free support to those suffering with, and from, cancer. They rely almost exclusively on donations and corporate support to continue the great work they do.

Master Cutler's Challenge
The Master Cutlers Challenge was first launched in 2008 and has become one of the largest annual fundraising events in the region.
Over the years, the Challenge has inspired companies, organisations, schools and individuals to raise in excess of half a million pounds for local causes, and their nominated charity this year is Cavendish Cancer Care.
How Lodestone Is Helping
Lodestone has accepted the Master Cutler's Challenge this year to raise as much money as possible from an initial £50 cheque.
We have a number of ideas to increase this as much as possible before the deadline in September, but if anyone has any suggestions or would like to offer their support, we are very willing to listen!
We did it!
Lodestone is proud to announce that we raised £862.48 as part of the Master Cutler's Challenge. This was achieved through various challenges including Nicholas Brennan completing the Sheffield Half Marathon, a number of Bake Sales and a football scratch card. The challenge was a fantastic success and in total raised over £200,000 for Cavendish Cancer Care, which will make such a difference to so many people!

Mia Blackwell
This year Lodestone is sponsoring aspiring Ice Hockey player Mia Blackwell. She has recently joined Sheffield Shadows Ladies Ice Hockey Team and we have sponsored her Elbow and Shin protectors for this season. Good luck Mia!
